Addicus is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
This means that we are qualified chartered accountants who complete a minimum of three years in-depth training including practical experience, we undertake continuing professional development to keep our knowledge and skills up-to-date, we are bound by ICAEW’s Code of Ethics and are subject to their disciplinary procedures, we hold a practicing certificate and professional indemnity insurance and we are subject to review as part of ICAEW’s Practice Assurance scheme, which demonstrates our commitment to quality assurance.

Standard terms of business
As a client, you will receive a full engagement letter setting out the services we have agreed to provide, our respective roles and responsibilities and other relevant information, including the agreed fee structure. Fees are always payable “on demand” and in some limited circumstances we may ask for payment to be made on account prior to work being undertaken.
As part of our legal and regulatory responsibilities under Anti-Money Laundering regulations, we are required to verify the identity of our clients (including individuals who own and control limited companies, partnerships, LLPs, trusts etc). We may verify client identities by carrying out an electronic check with an independent agency and you should let us know if you don’t want us to do this.
Professional indemnity insurance
In accordance with the disclosure requirements of the Services Regulations 2009, our professional indemnity insurer is Allied World Assurance Company (Europe) dac, 19th Floor, 20 Fenchurch Street, London. EC3M 3BY. The territorial coverage is worldwide excluding professional business carried out from an office in the United States of America or Canada and excludes any action for a claim brought in any court in the United States of America or Canada.
